Dr.R.R.Surathkumar always wants to reciprocate to the society especially for ophthalmologists. He found novel way of giving back to his clients by training their hospital staff in the area of patient relationship management.Since he has done doctorate in that area he gave one to one training for the hospital staff which includes attending phone calls, grooming, dressing sense , taking care of patients and their attenders. He is also giving training in cataract , lasik counselling to the hospital staff and also he gives training in pharmacy maintenance and optical sales enhancement.

More than thousand hospital staff got benefits from his in-house unique mode of training. More than hundred clinics and ophthalmic hospitals namely Rajan Eye Care , MN Eye Hospital, Satish Hospital, Aravind Hospital, Eye Foundation, Lotus Eye Hospitals etcetera got benefit out of this training he also gave guest lecture in IMA( Indian medical Association )and various TNOA units.

SERVICE IN TEACHING FIELD

Dr.R.R.Surathkumaar has done MSc in wildlife biology and has done research on crocodiles. Even after he joined in profession he still had time to study further and improve his knowledge in management areas which made him to study MBA, Post graduate diploma in hospital management and post graduate diploma in advertisement management in order to complete his desire to enter into teaching field he has done Ph D in Hospital Management. He has passion to visit various management institutions as guest lecturer to teach MBA students and guide for many management students and also give motivational talks to students.He has been appointed as board of members for studies with PSR engineering College,Sivakasi.
